Saudi Chess Federation Holds Its “Ordinary General Assembly” Remotely

On Monday, 22 December 2025, the Saudi Chess Federation convened its Ordinary General Assembly via video conferencing.

The proceedings opened with an address by the President of the Saudi Chess Federation, Mohammed bin Mutlaq Al-Masaoudi, in which he expressed appreciation for the generous support of the wise leadership for the sports sector, and highlighted the achievements accomplished by chess in the Kingdom during 2025 as a result of this unlimited support. He also commended the efforts of the Saudi Olympic Committee for mobilizing resources to enable the sport to make significant strides in recent months.

Following this, the minutes of the first General Assembly meeting of the Saudi Chess Federation were approved. The Assembly also reviewed and approved the Federation’s activity report, the Board of Directors’ report, and the implementation of the strategic plan.

The Ordinary General Assembly further reviewed and approved the financial report of the Saudi Chess Federation up to 4 December 2025, in addition to reviewing and approving the Federation’s Discipline and Ethics Regulations.
